Indoor Play at Girassol Preschool

All the materials, toys, shelves, furnishings in Girassol classrooms are intentionally organized to create a beautiful environment that is welcoming and attractive to the children. While some activities are effective for all children, we make sure that younger and older children have many opportunities to engage in activities that are appropriate for their different levels of cognitive and motor skills. 
The children work on math and literacy activities in learning centers.
​They work on patterns, number and alphabet sequences, and color recognition. ​
We usually play outdoors every day, but f the weather is just too wet or cold, we play in the gym. Watch us enjoy free play with ribbons!
