Indoor Activities at Girassol

Girassol's classrooms are sunny, spacious, and clean. And every space is dedicated to learning--even the hallways. While some activities are effective for all children, we make sure that younger and older children have many opportunities to engage in activities that are appropriate for their different levels of cognitive and motor skills. 

The children work on math and literacy activities in learning centers. They work on patterns, number and alphabet sequences, and color recognition. They also love working with shapes to create yummy-looking pretend food! ​

We usually play outdoors every day, but sometimes the weather is just too wet or cold. Then we play in the gym. Watch us enjoy free play with ribbons!
